The Smashing Pumpkins Reached Billboard Top 5
The Smashing Pumpkins' brand new album Oceania ranked #4 on Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Independent Albums Charts this week. It recorded the second highest debuting independent album this year.
The album, recorded in the band's frontman Billy Corgan's studio in Chicago, is their 7th studio album. The band has sold more than 30 million album copies since it was formed in 1988 led by Corgan and James Iha.
The band confirmed global tour dates on their website. North American dates are expected to be announced shortly.
