WWE Spoilers: How do WWE officials view CM Punk's future with the company?
CM Punk's abrupt exit from WWE at the end of January continues to be a major talking point for fans of professional wrestling, and new updates and reports emerge seemingly every day about the status of The Second City Saint.
PWInsider.com has the latest report on Punk's relationship with the company, and the news is not so bright for those who are hoping for the Best in the World to return to the company. The report states that Punk and WWE officials have had very little communication, and the opinion backstage is that Punk is done with pro wrestling or, at the very least, done with WWE.
Furthermore, WWE reportedly told its employees on Monday that Punk would not be on Monday Night Raw at the Allstate Arena just outside of Chicago. The officials' perception is that Punk is done with wrestling either for now, until his contract expires, for a year or possibly for good. The report states that no one within WWE has any real idea, and those close to Punk either do not know or are not saying what his plan is.
In related news, PWInsider.com reports that WWE could have a problem, as Punk was scheduled to appear in the Camp WWE online cartoon and the new Flintstones movie. These projects were in the works before he departed the company, so it is unclear how WWE plans to work around this issue.
