Daniel Bryan's status as the fan favorite continues to surge as he and the rest of the WWE head into WrestleMania 30 on Sunday, April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. But it's still unclear what Bryan's role will be at one of the biggest shows in the history of the company.

Bryan appeared on Detroit Sports 105.1 this week with Matt Dery and conducted an interview in which he moved in and out of character. He did, however, offer some interesting information during the interview, which you can view below in its two parts.

Firstly, he spoke about the CM Punk situation:

"Honestly, I don't know that much. I haven't heard from him since he left. The company hasn't really released anything other than he's no longer with the company right now. It'll be interesting to see what happens."

He also, seemingly in character, spoke about WrestleMania 30:

"As of right now...I don't even have a match at WrestleMania at this point. I am trying to get Triple H to fight me. I am trying to goad him into fighting me at WrestleMania, and who knows if it'll work. I'm doing my best."

He spoke about the Michigan State "Yes!" chant and much more during the interview.

Justin LaBar of The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and Wrestlezone.com also posted an article Friday in which he said he spoke to people within WWE, and the company has two options for Bryan at WrestleMania 30: fight Triple H or fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
