Lorde lands her first makeup deal with MAC Cosmetics, singer says she was "excited to work with them"

Move over Rihanna, 17-year-old phenom Lorde just landed her first makeup deal with MAC Cosmetics.

Billboard reports that the "Royals" singer will be teaming up with MAC for a limited-edition makeup collection, which will be available this summer.

"I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! MAC has a very clear aesthetic, that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too."

No details on the line have been released but we can almost bet it will feature some of Lorde's signature gothic-chic lipstick shades.

The Cut reports that Lorde works frequently with MAC senior artist Amber Dreadon, who helps her pick out the lip colors to match her vampy wardrobe while on tour.

Lorde sent out this tweet announcing the line: "Mac x Lorde coming June 5th"

When asked about her fashion style during an interview with Rolling Stone, she had this to say:

"The way I dress and carry myself, a lot of people find it strange or intimidating. I think my whole career can be boiled down to the one word I always say in meetings: strength."
