English Premier League preview as exciting weekend looms

It seems like the big teams, like Manchester City, have been playing every other day in countless of competitions, but with other competitions starting to dwindle down, the importance of the English Premier League will come to light once again. This weekend sees a very exciting fixture list, in which several things will be decided, or at the very least made very clear.

Manchester City will look to bounce back from FA Cup disappointment and face the early fixture challenge of Hull. City will visit Hull hoping to show the Premier League they mean business, but can the confident Hull add to their misery? Aston Villa welcome Chelsea in the evening fixture, in what is an important game. Aston Villa are in need of points and a morale booster, and Chelsea are looking to increase their lead ahead of other title contenders.

Arguably the biggest games of the weekend all fall on the famously entitled 'Super Sunday', with Manchester United taking on rivals Liverpool, as the battle for fourth place should find some answers resulting from this match. If United are to catch Liverpool, although unlikely, they simply have to win this game, and then they will have a small chance of doing so. This match is always exciting, but with this extra incentive for United, expect it to be one of the games of the season.

To finish the weekend off the fans will be treated to the North London derby, in which struggling Tottenham will welcome rivals Arsenal. This is always one of the best fixtures of the season, and with both teams out of form and in desperate need of the points, it could be a game to remember. When the pair play one another defense usually goes out of the window and both teams attack until they have no energy left.

Which game are you looking forward to?
