Justin Bieber Cuts Interview Short after Mom Joke [AUDIO]

Justin Bieber hung up the phone interview short after the host made a joke about his mom and Harry Styles.

Thomas Carballo, the host of US radio show 'Mojo In The Morning' said he thought Bieber's music sounds like Justin Timberlake and attempted to ask the singer to take it as "a compliment."

Justin responded, "Man, that's crazy 'cause our voices sound nothing alike. I mean, I'm not trying to sound like anyone. Saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment. ... I think if you were to say I heard some Justin Timberlake-esque things in your sound I would take that as a compliment."

In another question, Mojo asked if Bieber is worried about his friend Harry Styles of One Direction and his mom since Styles liked older women, Bieber responded, "I think you should worry about your ma, bro."

Mojo told Bieber that that won't work because his mother was already passed away. In a moment, the phone call was cut off with an awkward silence.

Bieber's spokeswomen admitted that he was a little upset with the question. Mojo tweeted that he was suspended for the interview, MTV reports. Clear Channel who hosts Mogo's show, stated to Radio Ink magazine that 'As a policy we don't comment on personnel matters.' The interview has been taken down from the official radio show's website, but a copy of it appeared on Youtube.
