Can Kyrie Irving win in Cleveland?
There are countless of elite point guards in the NBA, but just how does Cleveland Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving rank amongst them? Kyrie can lead, score and perform consistently across the entire court, and he's been through the Cavaliers' bad times, and still worked as hard as any player in the league. It only takes one second for Kyrie to take control of a game, and that's a sign of a top point guard. Although there are many great guards, it's clear Kyrie is up there with the best of them, especially considering the team he's carried over the past few seasons.
Kyrie has become a fans' favourite in Cleveland since the day he was drafted, and rightfully so. Many fans are suggesting they will be a top team in the league once they add the right players to compliment the playing style of Irving. Kyrie would be welcomed in to many of the NBA's top temas, and that's always a sign of just how good a player is, or at least can be.
Kyrie has had a solid season, despite his team's struggles. The tar has averaged over 20 points per game and been creative with the assists too, ensuring his team-mates get in to scoring positions as he moves the defenders with his blistering pace. Kyrie is the kind of player the Cavaliers so badly needed after LeBron James' departure, but now it's time for the Cavaliers to reward his efforts with the players he needs to see their team become a winner.
