Chelsea hope to progress, welcome Galatasaray to Stamford Bridge
Manager Jose Mourinho and his Chelsea team are desperate to beat Galatasaray in tonight's encounter, so they are then able to make a run at winning the UEFA Champions League. Both Jose and Chelsea have won the trophy recently, but both respective victories fell during a time where they were not working together. One of the only things the pair have not achieved together is to lift this illustrious trophy. Chelsea hero and former striker Didier Drogba, of Galatasaray, will look to put a stop to these hopes tonight.
Jose will go head-to-head with former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, who's had an impressive first season in charge of the Turkish giants. Although Chelsea are the heavy favourites, their opponents have quality all over, including the previously mentioned Drogba and Wesley Sneijder, who was once considered one of the best midfield players in the world.
Chelsea will look to their star player Eden Hazard, hoping he can find the heroics to fire hos club in to the Champions League Quarter Finals. Not only will they be looking to win, they know they need to so it convincingly as they will likely face an elite franchise in the next round, so they will want to prove the, selves and build their confidence while they have the chance.
Anything can happen, but with Jose's Chelsea motivated and hungry, it'd be hard to see past a victory that keeps their Champions League dream alive. Expect Chelsea to progress deep in to the competition, but seemingly there's too much talent in their way.
