Steve-O backflip off bridge goes viral [VIDEO]: Jacka$$ star calls for 'No Diving/Jumping' sign, dangerous stunt investigated by San Antonio PD
Infamous Jacka$$ stuntman Steve-O is at his wild ways once again.
Over the weekend, the 39-year-old prankster did a blackflip off of a popular San Antonio bridge - into just four feet of water.
Awesome - but extremely dangerous.
Funny thing is, Steve-O thinks he should be rewarded (not punished)! According to TMZ, the actor attempted the jump to help 'raise awareness about the dangers of San Antonio bridge jumping."
Steve-O tells the gossip webloid, "They've given no indication that people shouldn't jump, and done nothing to warn anyone about the serious dangers of that shallow water. Very irresponsible, indeed."
He also explained that the stunt WAS indeed dangerous, but San Antonio authorities are ultimately to blame. The city never posted a "No Jumping or Diving" sign, warning that the water is only four feet deep. Any innocent kid or fellow "prankster" could have gotten hurt.
Meanwhile, the SAPD is investigating the situation. According to TMZ, police are trying to determine a fair punishment - backflipping off of the bridge is illegal (and potentially life-threatening).
