Former England Captain David Beckham has done it all, and earlier this year added to his legacy, stating his intent to create a new MLS franchise in Miami. The latest announcement revealed that Miami's waterfront would be the location of a 25,000-seat stadium, which will become the envy of the MLS, as well as the home of his Miami-based franchise.

Beckham's never feared a challenge and he explained "There'll be certain things that come up, but we're ready to handle everything that'll be thrown at us" So it seems David's ready to do whatever it takes to make his MLS team successful. He explained the reason behind the location saying "When people think of Miami, they immediately think about being near or on the water,"

The stadium will be built next to the Miami Heat's NBA arena, making a sporting center for the city, and the potential for the both, combined, would be endless. Beckham made his name at Manchester United before adding to his soccer legacy at Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and Paris St-Germain, but now he's ready to make a new legacy in Miami.

Beckham's aiming to have a team on the field by 2016, so there's a lot to be done in the next two years, but it appears he's ready to work day and night to make it a reality. Currently the superstar soccer legend is building a buzz, visiting people and places, promoting the new, exciting franchise, which is sure to add a new dimension to the MLS.
