Chief Keef shooting, rapper's gun PHOTOS go viral on Instagram before Chicago 'showdown' at manager's home? 'Arrest' details still unknown
Apparently, rapper Chief Keef just can't stay out of trouble with the law.
Earlier this week, the Chicago emcee posted these viral gun photos on Instagram:
chiefkeefsosa: "GangS*it Aint Nun Of That Squad."
Reports confirm that just a few hours later, Chief Keef was taken into police custody following a shooting in Northfield, Illinois. The "Finally Rich" rapper was picked up early Wednesday morning (March 26) - the shooting allegedly injured at least one person. The victim was taken to a local hospital.
Reps for Keef tell TMZ that he was NOT the shooter, but just happened to be present when the inncident occured.
According to WGN, the home where the shots were fired "possibly [belonged to] Keef's manager," Rovan "Dro" Manuel. It remains unconfirmed if Manuel was home at the time of the shooting.
Details still remain hazy, although someone allegedly called WGN insisting that "Chief Keef shot me."
In the above Instagram photos, Keep poses alongside fellow GBE member Ballout. He's pictured holding an Uzi while Ballout flaunts an AK-47.
Stay tuned as more details become available.
