MTV Real World: Ex-Plosion Episode 11 Review

By Casey Balch C.balch@mstarsnews.com | Mar 27, 2014 08:53 AM EDT

Last week, Hailey left. That's one more ex down, two to go. Luckily, next week is the season finale and everyone can go their separate ways!

As always, Brian is the odd girl out when the boys of the house have their bromantic time. There was a time when Brian and Cory got along swimmingly but that time is long gone. The sexual tension between Jenny and Cory has driven Brian and Cory apart.

It also doesn't help that Brian talks down to Jenny every chance he gets to be within her earshot...

With Brian's jealousy in full-effect, Jenny gets a job as a Go-go Dancer at a local club. It's great that she got a job doing what she loves - looking beautiful and dancing up a storm- but she should have known that her new career move was not going to make her and Brian's odd relationship any better.

Brian keeps repeating, "Jenny doesn't respect my emotions," and, "How do you have the energy for (Go-go dancing) but not me," and, "She's been ignoring my sensitivity," and, "She's been ignoring my emotions."

Well, Brian, maybe you should not have done the following:

1.) After she moves across the country, tell her you're seeing how things work out with another girl.

2.) Tell Jenny to do whatever she wants, that you're seeing someone else.

3.) Move into her house.

4.) Get back with her and told her you want her to have your children.

5.) After #4, tell her you want to "do you" and see other people while you're in the house because you can't stand that she slept with Cory (after you told her to move on, that you were seeing someone else).

6.) Do #2,3,4,5 because you don't want to look like the only fool on national television.

7.) Take #5 back before she goes out on Girl's Night, go out on Guy's Night, and hook up with another chick at the bar.

8.) Take her to a public place for a nice dinner and tell her you kissed another girl at the bar the night before.

9.) Become buddy-buddy with Cory and pretend he and Jenny weren't a thing.

10.) Call Jenny every dirty word in the book while simultaneously describing how you this she is a demon or the devil reincarnated.

11.) Say she is not classy and doesn't belong on a vineyard trip that she planned for everyone because she is Go-go Dancer at night.

At the end of every day Brian has been in the house, Jenny gets to laugh and enjoy herself around Cory. Not only does he make her feel good about herself, he doesn't talk down to her about her job or how she behaves or how she dresses.

I wonder why Jenny seems to be finding her way back to Cory...

And it's not like Brian doesn't see this happening. He's been hesitant the entire time he has moved into the house. It's no surprise he tried to make a bromance happen between the two of them. It's a good idea to keep your enemies close, but it's not the best idea to make them more of an enemy by verbally attacking their friend (Jenny) every day.

It is obvious that Cory values Jenny and what she had to offer him. They both were coming out of heavy relationships, but they enjoyed each others company in and out of the bedroom.

So when they are all at the club and a Real World groupie comes over to Cory, he sends her packing. This is not only does she not compare to any woman in his life (whether it be Jenny or Lauren or any other chick in San Fransisco), but because he's not interested in a chick who only wants to be on television. Brian, on the other hand, is flattered by the attention and welcomes in the groupie with open arms and an open mouth.

On the way back to the house, Brian and Cory get into a fight talking about the groupie and "sloppy seconds." Brian tells Cory that he got Jenny -his sloppy seconds- but Cory knows that Jenny is a prize to Brian (and possibly to Cory himself). Cory pushes Brians's buttons, talks about how he and Jenny got together so quickly, and eventually the trash talking explodes into a fist fight.

And the cast's taxi hasn't even stopped driving yet.

Oh, and Arielle gets to show viewers her passion, horror film making.  Arielle and Ashley show viewers more evidence on how adorably cute and sane they are!

On the next episode: I am going to assume things get a little loose with Jamie, but I feel like Brian is getting loose in another way...  Check out the sneak peaks below!
