Here's ten more "fun facts" about the Detroit rapper - get to know Slim Shady before he hits the States in August!
1. Apparently, Shady doesn't really know how to properly use a computer.
2. When he was younger, Shady actually wanted to be a comic book artist - not a rapper. Makes sense now after looking back at some of his viral music videos:
4. Eminem was the first WHITE rapper to appear on the cover of the popular hip-hop magazine The Source, following the 2000 release of The Marshall Mathers LP.
5. Shady was still making payments on his infamous Detroit trailer home when 1999's The Slim Shady LP was released. According to his mom Debbie, he used to carry around a toy replica of the home as a kid. The house was demolished just last year.
6. While walking to ex-wife/girlfriend Kim's house as a teenager, Mathers was shot at (but not hit). Oh, and he claims that he once pulled a gun on a group of crazy fans that showed up to his home unexpected.
7. Eminem wasn't the best student. He failed 9th grade three times before finally dropping out.
8. Shady was once addicted to hardcore drugs - heroine his top poison of choice. During these binges, he'd watch the "Rocky" movies, "Shooter," and "Boogie Nights" on repeat - he's seen them all around 150 times.
9. Wonder why there wasn't much hype around Shady's hit 2002 album The Eminem Show? The record was toned down because Em wanted to prove it would sell no matter what.
10. On his first-ever tour, Eminem fell from the stage and broke multiple ribs.
