Chloe Bennet says blue alien may not be Kree on 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Fanboy Comics caught up to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet at PaleyFest 2014. Earlier this week, MStars and numerous other sites reported that Bennet confirmed the blue alien that appeared in a recent episode of the show was in fact a Kree, a member of an alien race from the Marvel Universe. But now, Bennet has advised everyone to take a step back.

"Sooo I never 'confirmed' that the alien was a Kree," the actress tweeted on Friday. "I said that's one of my guesses as a FAN! I'm still guessing like all of you!"

It's possible she is backtracking, but it's equally possible that her words were misinterpreted and then spread across the Internet as these things tend to do.

During the actual PaleyFest Q&A session, Both Ming Na Wen and Bennet said Marvel does not tell them much as far as spoilers for the show, and Bennet even said she has been calling Marvel consistently to try and find out about Skye's secrets as she reads more comics and discovers more possibilities. Ming Na Wen also joked that she wants Skye to be the love child of May and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and that she wants flashbacks to those scenes.

Loeb was coy when asked if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would introduce more characters from the Marvel Universe or if it would cross over with the upcoming Marvel Netflix series. "We'll see," he said. "I'm in favor of what makes fans happy."
