The 2014 MLB season is here, and fans couldn't be any more excited. Your favourite team have upgraded their pitching, or possibly recruited that top hitter that would of seen you win ten extra games, and possibly win your division last season, so you're excited and full of hope, right? The seasons are long, and the ups and downs are endless, and you want to enjoy every moment you possibly can and maximize every second of baseball time, right? Well here's your guide to get you started on the 2014 season.

Firstly, yes it's expensive for a phone application (Roughly $20 depending on the device), but you need to download and subscribe to MLB At Bat 2014. Of course if you wish you can subscribe to the full package of MLB TV (a lot more money) and enjoy countless of benefits, but if you'd prefer to save money and still upgrade your baseball experience, then this application is for you. Here's some of the benefits:

- Highlights

- Free games

- Radio coverage

- Up to the minute statistics

- Much more

Secondly, summer is coming, your teams going to win the World Series, at least in your head anyway, so a new t-shirt or jersey may be a wise investment. When the season begins the options are endless, regardless of your budget, so a new shirt to upgrade your wardrobe, and to really enjoy baseball fever, is definitely a must.

Ten years a go a baseball cap was a simple item, and one that would rarely go out of fashion. Now there are many different types, and there's always a hot, new one on the market. With the scorching weather coming your way, and the need for a new trend, and a way to support your team, a flashy baseball cap may be the least expensive, yet most important purchase.
