Miley Cyrus dog dies, RIP Floyd: Liam Hemsworth's ex expresses sorrow on Twitter/Instagram over lost pup, 'broken & miserable' [PHOTOS]

Miley Cyrus is a huge dog-lover - and unfortunately, her beloved pup Floyd recently passed away.

Early Wednesday (April 2), the Bangerz songstress tweeted:

@MileyCyrus: "I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken."

@MileyCyrus: "I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him, this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?"

@MileyCyrus: "I am miserable."

@MileyCyrus: "I'm sorry in advance if I am not myself tomorrow Boston. I will try my best to be my best."

She also expressed her heartfelt sorrow on Instagram:

mileycyrus: "Sad pupil."

Fans have truly been supportive. Floyd was a young husky pup who even had his own viral Twitter page, @RealFloydCyrus.

Cyrus did not provide details on Floyd's sudden cause of death.

RIP, Floyd.
