'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' fan 'fixes' 2014 movie trailer turtles after Internet outrage [PHOTOS]
The first trailer for the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuted this week, introducing us to the new live-action take on the classic characters. Unfortunately, there was a negative reaction to the appearance of our favorite shelled heroes. People all over the Internet complained, but one smart fan decided to give the new Turtles a facelift with digital plastic surgery for the sake of nostalgia.
Posted on Reddit, these updated pictures show just how these new Turtles would look if Bay and company stuck to the original character design made popular by early comic books and cartoons. Check out the alterations right here:

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.
