Game of Thrones Season 4 Spoilers: More death coming to Westeros

Death occurs so frequently on Game of Thrones, yet it's still somehow shocking when a character meets his or her end. And according to one of the show's actors, we can expect even more dirt naps after the Season 4 premiere on Sunday.

The "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online reports the following from the architect of the Red Wedding:

"Not sure if this is worth celebrating, but here goes nothing: the Red Wedding was just the tip of the iceberg, so steel yourselves now for more hard losses. Michael McElhatton (aka the traitorous Roose Bolton) teases, 'There's a huge power shift certainly in season four and going into season five. It should be exciting. Nobody is safe on Game of Thrones...no character is too big to die.'"

Could the Red Viper deliver some of this death? Actor Pedro Pascal spoke to TVLine to offer some glimpses into what fans can expect from the character this season, and he likened Oberyn Martell to a particular musical style.

"[He's] definitely punk rock," he said with a laugh. "He's like, 'Live life to the fullest, suck the marrow, play hard, love hard, hate hard.'"

The character shows this in his very first scene in the Season 4 premiere, which airs Sunday at 9 p.m., when he forgoes a formal welcome to King's Landing in favor of the pleasures on hand at Littlefinger's establishment. And he brings his woman, Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma of Rome fame) with him!

The prince "doesn't waste any time" in his quest to have the Lannisters pay for the death of his sister, Elia. Pascal said his character's "focus is so specific" that the other numerous goings-on in Westeros are "not part of that equation."
