If you weren't aware of this amazing fact, Robert Downey Jr. is a really great person. In the past, he's held special screenings of his films like Iron Man 3 and raised plenty of money for charity. His most recent example of being incredibly cool came during his 49th birthday celebration. He held a special screening of his Marvel-mate Chris Evan's movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier for around 50 lucky kids!

Since Robert's 49th birthday coincided with the release of The Winter Soldier, he decided it just made sense to hold a screening. So he invited a group of kids to help celebrate in a very entertaining way.

"What better way to spend my birthday than recognizing the cosmic miracle of Captain America 2 opening the same day? Gonna wrangle about twenty kids to watch it with and partaaaaaaaaaaaaay Marvel-style!!! Let the partaaaaay begin!!! [SIC]" Downey Jr. said in a post on his Facebook page.

He also shared a great photo of himself with his lucky guests in the background. Check it out right here:

"I'm having 50 kids over and I'm screening Captain America 2 on my birthday, which happens to be the day it opens (in America)," he said last month when he announced his big plans for his April 4 birthday. "That's one of the perks of being on the inside track at Marvel."
