Jose Mourinho is the master of mind games, and quite often he likes to play his teams chances down, however, even though his Chelsea team are down 3-1 on aggregate, he believes his side can overturn that deficit at Stamford Bridge tonight. Is he optimistic, or crazy, or a little bit of both?

Chelsea were outplayed for much of he first contest, but looked to have a chance until a late Javier Pastore goal broke their hearts. Mourinho, however, still believes. He explained "I believe and my players believe. That's the most important thing," Perhaps the Blues' boss knows what he's talking about, after all he is a two-time Champions League winner.

Mourinho is expected to recall Samuel Eto'o, even though he is not fully fit, his team will need at least two goals, and possibly more, so every attacking option is needed for Jose. Would Mourinho's men be feeling the pressure? Apparently not, as he explained "I think if Paris is knocked out it will be a big disappointment for them; if we are knocked out it's something that, in this moment, lots of people are expecting," He continued to show his relaxed mind state, saying "We have to enjoy the risk of the situation. At 9.30pm we can be out and we know that we have this risk. But at 7.45pm we have chances to be in the semi-final. "

Jose believes his team will win in style, saying "I think we are going to win, really. In the end of the two legs, I think we are going to score more goals than them. In this moment it's 3-1. I think in the end it can be 4-3 or 5-4."

Is Jose really this confident, or is he merely trying to boost the confidence of his struggling side? Either way they're big words that will take a big performance to back up.
