Lady Gaga's Ticket Prices Raising for upcoming ARTPOP Ball After Roseland Ballroom Shows
It seems that shutting down Roseland Ballroom might have actually help Lady Gaga's ARTPOP Ball. The singer played seven shows at the NYC Landmark before it closed its doors earlier this week.
The ARTPOP Ball Tour which kicks off on May 4, has seen an average 5.3% price increase on secondary ticketing sites, since her shows at Roseland Ballroom. The biggest increase is a 9% increase in tickets at her May 6show at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.
Gaga received positive reviews from critics for her performances at the legendary New York venue.
If fans are still looking to get tickets to the tour but don't want to pay an arm and a leg they should check out TD Garden in Boston which has the lowest average for ticket prices, 15.6% lower than most of the other tour dates with tickets averaging prices of $200.
Madison Square Garden in New York City is the show that is the most exclusive on this tour, with ticket prices raising to $338 an average 42% above the average ticket price. It seems that everyone in the New York area who missed out on the Roseland Ballroom shows are itching to get into the ARTPOP Ball when it takes the stage on May 13.
Most of the arenas are still keeping prices low for tickets in the last section of the venues, something that Lady Gaga made sure of when pricing out tickets for the upcoming tour. She claims that the reasoning behind this was so that everyone who wanted to see her would be able to affording to get in. Prices for these tickets range from $49-$57 consistently across all tour dates.
This will be Gaga's first tour in North America since cancelling many of the dates on her Born This Way Ball after breaking her hip in 2012.
