First 'Girl Meets World' trailer arrives
Fans of Boy Meets World have seen pictures and read news about the sequel series, Girl Meets World but now the first trailer has arrived!
E! Online posted the exclusive first look, which features Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) trying to sneak out the bedroom window. But Cory (Ben Savage) has seen his best friend Shawn (Rider Strong) pull that move, so he's outside waiting to catch the two girls. They have a brief but sweet conversation until Topanga (Danielle Fishel) appears in the doorway.
Check it out here.
In other news, Girl Meets World will introduce a new character. The following comes from the "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online:
"Besides the return of more familiar faces, we'll meet more of Cory's coworkers at the school, including guidance counselor Carrie Russo. She's cool and confident and the kids love her."
There's no information on an actress or any other character details, but it's one more piece of the GMW puzzle.
In other news, a photo of the modern-day Matthews family has been released for all to see before the show premieres on the Disney Channel this summer.
And finally, E! Online first reported exclusively that Lee Norris would return to the show as Minkus, the fan-favorite nerd from Cory's sixth-grade class in the first season of the show. The site even posted a first-look photo at Minkus' return, which you can view at the top of the page.
"I've had a great time being back on set with some of my old friends," Norris told E! Online. "It still amazes me how many people love and remember Minkus, and I'm excited for the fans to catch up with him after all these years."
