Manchester United plot double move for Southampton's Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw
Manchester United have had a horrific season with little to no positives to smile about, however they are rumoured to have over $300 million dollars to spend to give their squad a much needed overhaul this summer. It's clear United need many players, most noticeably a left back and a center midfielder. United boss David Moyes needs to ensure he makes the right transfers, so could a double move for Southampton's tried and tested England duo be the move to make.
Both midfielder Adam Lallana and defender Luke Shaw have had breathtaking seasons for Southampton and look set to go to the World Cup with England. Could United land the pair? Both would be a big upgrade for Moyes' men, but he'd most certainly have to pay a huge fee, possibly over $80 million dollars to land the pair.
Luke Shaw has been linked with almost every elite Premier League side and it looks evident he will leave this summer, but to which team? Will United look for English talent or European ones, or a mixture of both? With Patrice Evra looking like leaving this summer it's clear they need a new left back, and Luke Shaw could be the man to instantly replace Evra, and help the club build with the future in mind.
Another player hot on United's radar is Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos, who seems interested in making the move. Some players have ruled themselves out of a move this summer, yet this trio have not. Can United land these three players, and would it be enough to make them great once again?
