THE FOLLOWING Season 2 Episode 12 'Betrayal' Recap (SPOILERS) Episode 13 Preview Clip 'The Reaping' [VIDEO]

There are only three more episodes in the thrilling second season of Fox's The Following and from the looks of last week's "Betrayal," we are in for some craziness with this week's "The Reaping." We've said good-bye to some old and new characters this season, but one of the biggest deaths occurred last week. How will Joe handle it and what does it mean for everyone else as season two comes to a close? (SPOILERS to follow)

 We mentioned a big death in the introduction paragraph so we'll start with that. No matter what your thoughts on Mandy were, her death at the hands of Mark and Luke by Lily's orders was hard for Joe. You might think that she had it coming since she ran away from Korban and called the only group of people that desperately want to find Joe as badly as Ryan and the FBI ... but what else would you expect from such a weak individual.

Mandy's death showed us a dark, harsh side to Lily that we knew was there but haven't seen since she's been out of a number of episodes. We also got to see the creepy tableau thing that Luke and Mark do to their victims.

All in all: good-bye Mandy, Joe is pissed you're dead but we aren't too shaken up about it.

Meanwhile Joe is taking his message to Kingston Tanner, who has been publicly attacking Carroll's religious message. Aiming for Tanner's son, the episode concluded with a devastating attack on a college fraternity involving gluing masks of Joe to victims' faces.

Joe got the son but Ryan has gone off the grid and tracked down Korban.
