Twilight sweethearts Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were spotted shopping for engagement ring and were reported to be getting married later this year. Moreover, we will not see the couple in the movie adaptation of E.L. James erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey."

The couple was seen in West Hollywood shopping at Neil Lane jewelers hyping the rumors that the two are getting married this year.

Shoppers at the store said that Kristen Stewart was eyeing up different coloured diamonds as she and Robert Pattinson perused the bling rings on offer.

There is a firm speculation that the two will keep their marriage a secret. In one of Kristen's interviews, she said, "It's just one of those things. I'm selfish. I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It's a funny little game to play and it's a slippery slope. I always say to myself I'm never going to give anything away because there's never any point or benefit for me."

The British author E.L. James, on the other hand, confirmed that she ruled out Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson among the possible cast for the starring roles for the movie. The author said that casting the Twilight stars is weird.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" started as a Twilight fan fiction and characters of Bella and Edward served as an inspiration for manipulative billionaire Christian Grey and sweet and naïve Anastacia Steele.

However, E.L. James reposnded, "I think [casting Pattinson and Stewart] would be too strange. It would just be... ugh... weird!"

Moreover, E.L. James defended that although Bella and Edward are the inspiration for her characters, Christian and Ana developed as new people with characters of their own.

There are no details yet about the casting of the much-awaited adaptation. "I have about four people in mind for Ana's role and three in mind for Christian's part," finished the author. "I'm not telling anyone what they are because I'm not allowed to discuss the film... which is a real shame," the author said.

Author James also said that she only gave the rights to Focus Features and Universal Pictures to make the film. However, she has a serious say when it comes to the production and casting.
