Will the Houston Texans draft Blake Bortles with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft?

The NFL is certainly a funny industry. A year ago there was a massive amount of concern of the talent in the 2013 NFL Draft. Who would the Kansas City Chiefs take with the No. 1 pick? A year later and the story's very similar, but this time it's the Houston Texans. However a year ago the uncertainty around the No. 1 pick was entirely because of the lack of any top contenders, but this years pre-draft chaos surrounding the 2014 NFL Draft is entirely based around options. There's no clear-cut choice, and there's a ton of options for the Texans to consider. Will they take a chance and roll the dice by drafting quarterback Blake Bortles?

He has for a long while been considered one of the better quarterbacks, but over the past few months his stock has sky-rocketed, and the Texans are seriously considering used their coveted pick to land the athletic QB. It's clear they're in dire need of a franchise quarterback, especially after trading the under-performing Matt Schaub.

Bortles might not be considered the best QB of the draft, but he has the build to build a legacy, like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have done. After meeting with the talented signal-caller, could the Texans opt to take him with the No. 1 pick?

One thing's for sure, although many teams have desires, needs and plenty of options, it's only the Houston Texans that have the choice of every possible option, but will they take Bortles and leave the rest to right over the remaining talent?
