Cannibals Will Consume You In Eli Roth’s Upcoming Horror Movie ‘The Green Inferno!’ WATCH VIDEO
Already making a name for itself after being screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, let's see the trailer to the movie that's building a solid reputation. After making the torture porn, Hostel, and the body horror flick, Cabin Fever, writer/producer/director Eli Roth returns to the genre that made him a household name with The Green Inferno.
On his official Twitter, Roth announced the trailer release for his upcoming cannibal film, The Green Inferno.
According to Moviefone, "There isn't a whole lot of plot revealed in this atmospheric (almost unbearably so) trailer, but we do know that it's about a group of activists from New York who travel deep into the South American jungle to save a tribe from extinction. But they get more than they bargained for, when they realize that the tribe they're dealing with is rather, er, primordial."
The teaser trailer hints at the brutality as one of the activists unluckily finds herself tied-up. Viewers just hear muffled screams but we never actually see her. We only get a glimpse of the primitive cannibal who is going to eat her alive.
As reported here, Roth is also working with Matrix star Keanu Reeves on another horror project, Knock Knock.
