Before the 2013/14 Premier League season started you'd of been considered mad if you said Liverpool would win the title. After an impressive first half of the season many started to believe, but a huge amount of fans still insisted the title was Chelsea's or even Manchester City's for the taking. Lately many have realized that the title did indeed look to be heading to Anfield, and their match up with Norwich today has all but handed them the title.

Liverpool knew a win against the Canaries would put them in pole position to win the title, but it was easier said than done. Liverpool started in explosive fashion.0, taking an early 2-0 lead. At that time it seemed it would be an easy day for them, but that wasn't to be the case. Norwich battled back ampnd piled the pressure on with minutes remaining. It wasn't enough as Liverpool won 3-2, ensuring the title is well within their reach, and their beaten opponents were resigned to further relegation worry.

Raheem Sterling was the man of the moment, scoring twice and assisting for the other goal. Sterling epitomizes the reason Liverpool have been brilliant this season. Many of their prospects and under-performing players have stepped up their game, becoming quality first-team players. With this solid foundation around Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard it's clear to see why they've been such a dominant force this season.

Surely Liverpool can breathe a huge sigh of relief after this weekends results, and surely the other teams couldn't find a way to get themselves back in to contention, right? it will take a brilliant team to beat Liverpool it seems.
