WATCH First Trailer, 'True Blood' Finale Season: Will Your Favorites Survive?
Who's ready to take a trip down to Bon Temps, Louisana?
Well you will have to wait until June 22 for the seventh season of the hit HBO show, True Blood to return, but we can give you a little taste to hold you over until then. The network has released the first season seven trailer for the vampire drama.
The trailer features a voiceover from Sookie, as we see the infected vampires running rampant through the south, attacking the people of Bon Temps, while they're at church nonetheless. It's not just the sick vampires that are going nuts; the townspeople are also turning on one another. Sookie in her narration questions how such events could happen in this day-and-age and how the government could just leave these people helpless. The trailer concludes on a cliffhanger with Sookie looking on to a scene that viewers can't see and saying "there's no one left."
HBO president, Michael Lombardo, told fans of the hit series that this season is "a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show." He goes on to say that "True Blood has been nothing short of a defining show for HBO."
Alan Bell the series creator of the show says, "I'm deeply grateful to HBO for being true partners and collaborators, and, of course, to the viewers who chose to spend Sunday nights in Bon Temps with us."
Will your favorite survive until the end? You'll have to tune in and find out when the show premieres on June 22 at 9 pm on HBO.
