One Direction break up, Harry Styles solo career rumors: OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder talks alleged studio time with 1D heartthrob
In a new interview with The Guardian, OneRepublic singer Ryan Tedder addressed the current rumors surrounding Harry Styles possibly quitting One Direction for a solo career. Tedder and Styles were recently in headlines allegedly working on music together, adding to the speculation of a solo career. Let's see what he had to say about the rumors!
"That's an interesting rumor," Tedder told the news source. "I don't know if I can confirm or deny that, but what I will say is that I did hang out with One Direction in London."
Possibly to avoid the question, the singer went on to gush about how much he likes the members of One Direction and how down-to-Earth they are.
"It sounds completely generic to say," he said, "but I'm always impressed or extremely happy when I end up in the same room with a band who are at the stage of nuclear explosion in their career and they're so normal it almost turns you off."
He added: "Like, 'How are you not more messed up right now? I'm looking for syringes, where are they?'"
But getting back to the question about working with Harry, Tedder revealed: "Yes, we did do something is the truth. I can't say what it's for, though."
So does he think Harry will leave the band?
"Oh my God, I have no idea," he admitted. "I've never had any conversations with him or any of them regarding that."
