Mordecai And Rigby Try To Win At Ultimate Game Of Pogs In BOOM! Studios’ Preview Of ‘Regular Show #12!’

From the hit animated TV series on Cartoon Network, everyone's favorite Blue Jay and raccoon get into more epic adventures in Regular Show #12. This time around, Mordecai and Rigby poke fun at the '90s when they enter to play a game of Pogs.

Created by J. G. Quintel, the animated series follows Mordecai and Rigby, the slacker groundkeepers of a local park. Rather than do work, the hilarious duo finds ways to entertain themselves but also seem to get into trouble. Their slacking off leads to an epic and surreal adventure that spoofs something from the '90s.

In this installment of the Regular Show comic, writer KC Green and artist Allison Streilau poke fun at the popularity of Pogs. In the game, you would end up winning the other player's Pog discs. The popularity faded when the game turned into an excessive form of gambling by players.

Plot Synopsis:

Mordecai, Skips, and the others have been challenged by the '90s to an ultimate game of Pogs in order to save Rigby! But can they defeat the 90s at its own game?
