Ryan Giggs erases pain inflicted by David Moyes' era as Manchester United dominate Norwich

It's been a rough year for Manchester United, but with David Moyes out the door, it was clear that fans, players and everybody involved would be looking forward to their Saturday encounter with Norwich. Ryan Giggs, a United legend and the current interim manager, was looking to start with a bang, and he did just that, leading his team to an attacking, triumphant 4-0 victory. United players looked happy, willing and closer to the team Sir Alex Ferguson left one year ago.

For the first time in a long while Old Trafford witnessed the dominant United of old. Norwich went toe-to-toe with Liverpool last week, losing 3-2, so United's 4-0 victory was very impressive indeed. United were aggressive from the start, and ensured that Norwich couldn't come and control the game, something Moyes often failed to do.

Wayne Rooney scored a double, and Juan Mata, who came off of the bench, also grabbed a double. United could of had another four goals on top of the four they had, but it wasn't to be. One thing looks clear, the players are looking happier than ever, and Ryan Giggs, if this carries on, may well play himself in to becoming the full time Manchester United manager.

Giggs explained how he felt, saying "I've walked out of that tunnel so many times, But that was the best feeling I've had. I felt ten feet tall." How hard was certain parts of the job? He explained "Leaving out players. I've never had to do that before. That has been the hardest part of the job." It seems like Giggs may be able to handle the players in the correct manner, though.

Should Ryan Giggs get the job on a permanent basis?
