What can we expect from this film besides what we've seen in these trailers? Well a recent interview with director Gareth Edwards described his take on the movie monster and what type of character he truly is.
"He's an ancient warrior who's the last of his kind, and his kind has long since died out," Edwards said. "He lives a very solitary lonely existence and he's very happy to keep away from everyone, but we keep doing things to force him to return and put things right."
So expect a Last Samurai feel to this character but in a whole new way.
Here's the official plot synopsis for Godzilla.
