'Game of Thrones' Stars Emilia Clark and Kit Harington Dating? Is This a Sign of Things to Come for Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen?
Daenerys Targaryen is a woman in high demand.
Emilia Clarke who plays the character on HBO's hit series Game of Thrones is reportedly being courted by her co-star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the show... and also another man.
The rumor mill went in to overdrive when the actress, brought her costar Cory Michael Smith to the Vanity Fair Oscars party earlier this year. The pair met during the revival of Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway last month. Clarke made it clear after the rumors gained some attention that she was still single, but we are thinking that won't last too long, especially with these two heartthrobs trying to woo her.
And it appears that the wooing is working; Star magazine is reporting that Emilia is interested in both men.
"She's very comfortable with Cory but is completely enamored by Kit. You can see that these two are on a collision course with romance."
Good thing Daenerys doesn't get burnt by fire because it's looking like the fires of romance are heating up.
Clarke tells the April issue of British InStyle that "People keep asking me who I'm dating right now and the truth is... wait for it... no one. And that's OK. I'm figuring out a lot of stuff right now."
Could some of the stuff she's trying to figure out is how to make a long distance relationship with Harington work.
Clarke has dealt with long distance relationships in the past. She dated Seth Macfarlane for six month before the two called it quits, citing that they were always apart. Macfarlane resides in Los Angeles and Clarke is busy filming most of her GoT scenes in Moracco and Croatia. It appears that before she starts another relationship she wants to make sure that the long distance will not be an issue.
The magazine reports that Clarke is beginning to fall for Harington, but that their work schedule is making it hard from them to be together, hopefully this won't be a case of history repeating itself.
A source said, "Emilia has been telling friends they would make a cute couple. He's usually in Iceland or Ireland, while she films in Morocco or Croatia.
It makes sense that the two aren't together on set, having never been featured in a scene together as of yet. Jon Snow spends his time up in the North of Westeros while Daenerys is across the narrow sea, most recently in the slave city of Meereen.
The relationship might be in the budding stages but Clarke did tell the magazine just how close she has been getting to her cast members.
"The other actors on the show are my family and, when I'm not on set, I'm reading. "My father always said, 'Never trust anyone whose TV is bigger than their book shelf' - so I make sure I read.'
Hopefully Harington has a pretty big book shelf.
