Smackdown Spoilers 5/9/14: WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results May 9, 2014: John Cena battles The Wyatt Family, Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry

The May 9, 2014 edition of WWE's Friday Night Smackdown from Buffalo begins with an introductory video package that highlights Sheamus' winning the United States Championship in the 20-man battle royal on Monday Night Raw, as well as the ongoing war between The Shield and Evolution.

Dean Ambrose gets a rematch for the U.S. title against Sheamus, but the Celtic Warrior beats him to retain the belt.

WWE announced John Cena will team with The Usos later in the night to take on The Wyatt Family.

Cesaro and Bad News Barrett defeat Big E. and Rob Van Dam when Cesaro gets the pin on Big E. Paul Heyman was on commentary for the match.

Rusev defeats Kofi Kingston in more or less the same squash match from Raw. He gets Kofi to tap out to the Accolade.

The Wyatt Family cuts a promo about John Cena and about Bray Wyatt being a god.

Fandango and Layla defeat Santino and Emma when Layla pins Emma in less than two minutes.

Roman Reigns defeats Mark Henry when he hits a Samoan Drop on the World's Strongest Man.

Los Matadores and El Torito defeat Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Hornswoggle in a comedic match.

Batista defeats Seth Rollins by count out when Rollins tries a dive to the outside but misses and hits the announce table, which knocks him out. Batista hits him with a Batista Bomb after the match.

The Wyatt Family defeats John Cena and The Usos in the main event.
