Cleveland Browns trade No. 4 pick to Buffalo Bills: Buffalo land Clemson WR Sammy Watkins

For many months the 2014 NFL Draft speculation has revolved around the one offensive player everybody wanted. Sammy Watkins of Clemson. The Cleveland Browns were on the clock with the No. 4 pick, but struck a deal to send the pick to the Buffalo Bills, who instantly upgraded their team by drafting Watkins. This trade appeared to come out of nowhere and shocked the NFL world, including many analysts that thought that deal couldn't happen.

In return the Browns received the No. 9 pick for the 2014 Draft and the Bill's first-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft. The move made sense for the Browns, considering the depth of this class is widely considered to be one of the best. Will the Cleveland Browns come to regret not pairing Sammy Watkins with Josh Gordon?

Fans were understanding, yet angry at the Browns, knowing they'd turned down many good prospects that could instantly upgrade their team now, all for the pursuit of yet another 'next year' plan. Cleveland felt they were finally in a very strong position, so this move reminded them of old ones that failed to benefit the team in any shape, way or form.

In Watkins the Bills will have a top receiving threat and one their division rivals will both envy and fear. Could this move propel the Bills in to playoff contention, or will it be merely another target to add around some of their misfits? There's no doubt that everybody wanted Watkins, and many are sure he will become an elite receiver.
