WATCH: New 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' featurettes showcase Quicksilver and Mystique ahead of May 22 release date [VIDEOS]
X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters next week on May 22, 2014, but that doesn't mean that the Bryan Singer movie's promotions have slowed down. This week we were treated to two brand new featurettes focusing on Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique character and the new addition of Quicksilver, portrayed by Evan Peters!
Fans of the series, especially those that have seen First Class, probably understand the backstory of Mystique, so in this 2014 blockbuster we get to see how she's developed since the first prequel film. We all know Lawrence's talents, so this brief featurette is just a great reminder of what we can expect newt week in theaters!

As you can see from this clip, Lawrence's approach to Mystique is cold and calculated. There's a lot of pain behind her shape-shifting eyes, but her anger is what comes to the surface in this clip. What else should we expect from Mystique in this film?
Maybe the more important featurette focuses on Quicksilver, the new character in the series played by Evan Peters. So far, early reviews of Days of Future Past have praised Quicksilver's role, so we're excited to see a little more footage of the new character before the movie hits theaters next week.

It looks like Peters is having fun with this role, taking more of a light-hearted approach to the important character. Will his joking behavior cause tension with other characters in such a tumultuous situation?
