WATCH: New 'Godzilla' 2014 reboot movie clip and TV spot with iconic movie monster and Bryan Cranston in action [VIDEOS]
We are only a few days away from the May 16, 2014, release date of the highly anticipated Gareth Edwards monster movie franchise reboot Godzilla, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy some new TV clips and some in-film scenes!
Early this week we were treated to a brief TV spot showcasing star Bryan Cranston demanding answers in regards to the "natural disasters" occurring. Check out this intense scene right here:
Though we love seeing Cranston, the film's real star is the title character. In a new clip, we see just how well some military people handle the monster's powerful tail - or how they don't handle it well.

What do you think of these new clips? Surely they add to the anticipation of this 2014 blockbuster.
After the movie screened last week, director Gareth Edwards opened up about Godzilla in a great Q&A session.
"We were trying to put more into it than just a simple monster movie," Edwards said at the time. "Because the original was definitely a metaphor for Hiroshima and Nagasaki and a very serious film, so we were inspired to try and reflect that."
Also, producer Thomas Tull answered some questions about possible sequels.
"We're passionate fans of the universe," he explained. "My biggest dream from this, frankly, is that [kids] go to this movie with their parents, and a long time from now, they're talking about how this is what made them a Godzilla fan."
