Smackdown Spoilers 5/16/14: WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results May 16, 2014: John Cena answers the Wyatt Family, Dolph ZIggler vs. Batista

The May 16, 2014 edition of WWE's Friday Night Smackdown begins with John Cena, who kicks off the show by mocking The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt and their singing. He accepts the match at Payback on June 1. The Wyatts then show up on the TitanTron and yell at Cena for making jokes. They sing to end the segment.

The Usos defeat Cody Rhodes and Goldust in the first match of the night. Cody gets upset after the match and walks out on his brother.

El Torito defeats Heath Slater.

Nikki Bella defeats Natalya with Eva Marie as the special guest referee.

Dolph Ziggler cuts an intense promo backstage, and he faces Batista. Ziggler wins the match by disqualification when Batista uses a blatant low blow. After the match, Batista comes back and hits Ziggler with the Batista Bomb. He leaves, then returns and hits another one on the barricade.

We learn Bo Dallas will re-debut on Smackdown next week.

Titus O'Neil comes out for his match against Sheamus and mocks him for being an Irishman holding the United States Championship. Sheamus beats him in a one-on-one match.

Santino (w/Emma) defeats Damien Sandow in approximately one minute.

Paul Heyman comes out and does his usual routine to promote Brock Lesnar and Cesaro. The latter then beats R-Truth in a quick match.

John Cena comes out and issues an open challenge to the Wyatt Family. They come out and surround the ring, but the Usos emerge to even the odds. Cena then faces Erick Rowan in a one-on-one match and, after some interference from both teams, hits the Attitude Adjustment for the win.
