As LeBron James enjoys NBA Playoffs many are asking this question: Will LeBron James become a Cleveland Cavalier this summer?
When LeBron left the Cleveland Cavaliers it broke their hearts, and it seemed like he'd never step foot in Cleveland again. As the wounds have started to heal, the pain has remained and the franchise are still in a mess, but LeBron could return home this summer. So, could James leave the ageing Miami Heat and return to Cleveland, where he was once so loved?
The Cavaliers have been awful since he left, but they do possess a young, talented roster, an appealing draft pick and many other aspects that make them, well, a better option than they were when he left. Many still hold anger towards LeBron for his untimely departure, and it's believed that his positive imagine could be restored if he was to return to Cleveland to help them win a championship, or at the very least try.
LeBron could win his third straight title this year, but even another success in the 2014 NBA Playoffs wouldn't guarantee that his ageing teammates can help him next season, whereas Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters most certainly could. The Cavaliers have plenty of cap space, plenty of talent and everything possible to make this deal a reality.
At the very least this summer should be pivotal. Either the Cavaliers see the return of LeBron, or they realize it's truly over and it's time to spend their money elsewhere, it's time to move on, and it's time to become good again. It's going to be a crazy couple of months in the NBA, that's for sure.
