Meet DC Comics' newest superhero team in writer Jeff Lemire and artist Mike McKone's Justice League United #1. Lemire provides answers and teasers about this new team-up between Green Arrow, Animal Man, and more of your favorite DC superheroes.

Lemire speaks with DC All Access about what readers should expect from Justice League United #1. Find out who's joining the team as they head out on their first mission.

Lemire talks about the superhero lineup he has for Justice League United, "I sorta get to pick all the obscure, fun characters like Adam Strange, and characters who I obviously have a connection to, like Green Arrow and Animal Man. It's now getting to write them in a team setting and kinda make them central to this book. It's pretty cool!"

Plot Synopsis:

In Canada, the team of Animal Man, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and Stargirl is joined by Adam Strange to fight an unstoppable forced called the Unimaginable.

Lemire discusses how the Justice League United will travel between Canada and outer-space, "I wanted to do a cosmic book, like a cosmic superhero book, and I've been wanting to do that a long time. I'm a big sci-fi geek. Obviously I'm a proud Canadian. I try to represent my country as part of my book and part of the background in this comic."
