Jason Momoa Offers Humorous Answer to Aquaman Question in 'Batman vs. Superman' Movie
It's almost a running joke at this point that when former Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa makes a public appearance, someone will ask him about the persistent Aquaman rumors with regard to Zack Snyder's Batman vs. Superman movie. The most recent exchange prompted a humorous response from the actor.
Momoa appeared at a Comic Con in Detroit and a reporter from ComicBook.com asked him about it yet again, which led to this funny reply:
"What does everything tell you? No. Stop asking me. It's so annoying. Sorry, you're not annoying. Oh you're the press? Get the f*ck out of here. Here, put this in there - you're a d*ck, you're a d*ck. [Allowing the audience to laugh] You're not a d*ck, I'm just playing. You know what, I think it started when people said 'What superhero would you play?' And I'd say Batman and Superman, they'd be awesome together. Then people were like, 'He's in Batman vs. Superman!' I'm like, I really like Lobo. 'HE'S LOBO!!' And then some a**hole was like 'He's Aquaman! And I'm like - what did you just call me? Where the f*ck do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously... And then it shows up on the Internet. Not that it's a bad rumour."
The actor has been at the center of the rumors for months and despite his vehement denials, the questions refuse to go away. Perhaps they never will until the movie's release in 2016.
What do you think, fans? Is Momoa telling the truth, or does he protest too much? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
