Lana Del Rey Snags A Six-Figure Sum To Perform at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Wedding
Looks like Lana Del Rey will be getting a second chance with the soon to be Mr. Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West has enlisted Rey to performance at his star-studded wedding this coming weekend. Last year, the indie-pop darling politely declined West's invitation to perform for Kim at their surprise proposal, but reports are claiming that the rapper is upping his offer, making it hard for the "Young and Beautiful" singer to say no.
"[Kanye] upped the offer to perform at the wedding and told Lana that it's his and Kim's special song and it would mean so much to have her perform it."
The "Bound 2" rapper is reportedly paying a hefty six-figure sum to get the songstress to perform.
Kardashian expressed her love for Rey's song "Young and Beautiful" last summer when she tweeted, "I can't get this Lana Del Rey song out of my head! #youngandbeautiful."
Kanye tried to get Lana to perform the song at the proposal because he knew how much his soon-to-be wife loved it.
"Kanye knew how much Kim loved Lana's music, which is why he tried to get her to perform at the proposal," and insider tells The Mirror.
When Lana passed on the proposal performance "Kanye decided to hire an orchestra to perform the song for Kim, and he was much happier how it turned out."
We are sure that Lana would have turned this offer down as well, but the six-figure sum made it hard for the singer to say no.
The happy couple isn't batting an eye at the cost of the wedding, which is sitting close to $5 million.
