Manchester City's Yaya Toure Angry at Lack of Birthday Celebration

Manchester City's star player, Yaya Toure, has seemingly got it all. This season alone they've won the Premier League and Capital One Cup, and he earns a reported $380,000 a week, yet he's still unhappy. Is it a lack of ambition, or the weather? Neither, it's about his lack of birthday wishes. Yes, you read that right, he's upset about the lack of birthday well wishes.

It emerged today that Yaya may look to leave City in the new future. His agent revealed that the owners showed him a lack of respect on his 31st birthday, and Dimitri Seluk insisted Toure was "very upset" over the whole ordeal and could look for a quick exit. Toure quickly took to Twitter to say "Don't take words that do not come from my mouth seriously."

Soon after the situation took a new turn as Toure said "Everything Dimitri said is true. He speaks for me. I will explain after the World Cup." This anger seems strange considering the star was given a birthday cake and had well wishes from his fellow players, but it seems he was angry at being ignored by the club's owners once they arrived in the United Arab Emirates last week, where they'd travelled to celebrate their Premier League glory.

It seems Yaya wanted his ego stroked as he touched down, with hugs, presents and much more. Could he really want much more, considering he's earning a ton of money, and he's able to get anything in the world. Many are shocked, as his big wage is a symbol of how much the club, and City's rich owners, value the star.
