Eminem 'Most Streamed Artist Of All Time' On Spotify, Truly A 'Rap God?' 'The Monster' Tour Buddy Rihanna Snags 'Most-Streamed Female Artist Ever'
The "Rap God" did it again!
Spotify recently deemed rapper Eminem the "most-streamed artist of all time." Turns out that Slim Shady's upcoming tour buddy Rihanna also broke insane records - she was just named the popular digital music service's "most-streamed female artist ever."
Eminem's collaborations with RiRi are the major stand-out hits. "The Monster" racked-in a whopping 137 million streams, while 2010's "Love The Way You Lie" garnered 111 million streams and counting.
So, maybe fellow emcee Ma$e made a mistake when he refused to name Shady among his Top 5 "Mount Rushmore" rappers for being too "unoriginal?"
Meanwhile, Avicii's hit tune "Wake Me Up" snagged the title of "most-streamed song of all time," with a total of 235 million streams. Robin Thicke's sexy "Blurred Lines" followed with 160 million listens.
Following in RiRi's footsteps is Katy Perry. Renowned French DJ David Guetta was also named second "most-streamed male artist ever" as well as Spotify's "most-followed artist," with more than 5 million fans.
Wow - big numbers.
So, how many Mstars readers plan on hitting up this summer's highly-anticipated "The Monster" tour?
