Smackdown Spoilers 5/23/14: WWE Friday Night Smackdown May 23, 2014 Results: Hulk Hogan Appears, Bo Dallas Debuts
WWE taped the May 23, 2014 edition of Friday Night Smackdown from the O2 Arena in London, the same site as this week's Monday Night Raw. The show begins with Hulk Hogan, who comes out and pumps up the U.K. crowd.
The Hulkster talks about being the host of WrestleMania 30 and the host of Smackdown tonight. He hypes the WWE Network and announces it would be arriving in the U.K. "soon" but does not reveal an official date.
Batista defeats Dolph Ziggler in the first match of the night in a No Disqualification match.
The Funkadactyls defeat Eva Marie and Brie Bella with Summer Rae as the special guest referee.
Bo Dallas finally has his much-hyped "debut" even though he debuted last year at the Royal Rumble. He comes out and does his "BOlieve" schtick, which draws plenty of boos from the crowd. He then defeats Sin Cara in a short match.
The Wyatt Family comes out and cuts a promo about John Cena and Bray's match with him at Payback.
United States Champion Sheamus defeats Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match. Cesaro is on commentary for this match.
Vickie Guerrero comes out to make an announcement and of course draws an absurd level of boos from the London crowd. Adam Rose interrupts her with the Exotic Express and they all dance around the ring as he tells her to be a rosebud, not a lemon.
The Tag Team Champions The Usos defeat Luke Harper and Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Family in a non-title match. John Cena and Bray Wyatt are at ringside for the match. All six men brawl after the match and the Wyatts gain the upper hand as the show goes off the air.
