Will Drake, Andrew Wiggins and LeBron James Join Johnny Manziel in Cleveland?
Cleveland has rarely been a city in the spotlight, but it's had its fair amount of times in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons, sometimes the laughing stock of American sports. When LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers it seemed like all their star appeal disappeared. It seems that Cleveland might be about to enter a period of transition, and one which could see all 3 major sports team finally enjoy a period of success.
Why, you ask? The Cleveland Browns used the No. 22 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft to bring (possible) superstar Johnny Manziel to the franchise. After years of hurt, the Browns have a man to root for, finally. Not only are things looking up for their football team, but their basketball team, too. The NBA Draft lottery should not of seen them strike lucky again, but despite their 1.7% odds, they won the lottery, meaning they have a shot to add Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins to their already young and talented roster.
Could Drake's new song "Draft Day" become a Cleveland anthem? Hip Hop superstar Drake is friends with both Johnny Manziel and Andrew Wiggins, and before anything draft related was decided he released the song, which starts with the verse "Draft day, Johnny Manziel, five years later, how am I the man still? Draft day, A. Wiggins." Now the pair could both represent Cleveland and the entire future of the city, but could they bring Drake along for the ride?
If both Manziel and Wiggins are in Cleveland, it's likely Drake will adopt the city as almost a second home, and it would only add to the rumours of a LeBron James return, considering James himself is friends with the previously mentioned trio. Could this famous foursome rock Cleveland like never before?
