Rapper Wiz Khalifa arrested in Texas after El Paso music festival Saturday

MStars has learned that rapper Wiz Khalifa was arrested in West Texas for marijuana possession over the weekend.

Khalifa was stopped while going through an inspection checkpoint at the El Paso airport.

According to ABC, a statement from El Paso police says, "because Khalifa traveled without identification, a search was ordered and Transportation Security Administration agents found a canister with marijuana."

TSA notified police, arresting the 28 Grams rapper.

According to the site, the rapper was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and later released after posting $300 bail.

Khalifa performed at Neon Desert Music Festival, one day before he was arrested.

The rapper had previously performed at the Hangout Festival, in Golf Shores, Alabama, where he talked about his new mixtape, 28 Grams.

"It's gonna drop fast. You should go home," Wiz said. "It's more than a teaser, it's gonna get the Khalifa train rolling."

Looks like the rapper doesn't have any worries about his arrest, he posted a photo after his being in jail captioning, "This is what good mornings are made of."
