12-Year-Old 'Girl Meets World' Star Rowan Blanchard Making Cool Six-Figure Paycheck From First Season Of New Disney Channel Show
Talk about making us all look bad.
Rowan Blanchard from the new Disney Channel series, Girl Meets World, is reporting going to bring in a killer paycheck off of the first season of the show. The star is bringing home the bacon according to reports from TMZ.
The celebrity gossip site got ahold of the 12-year-old starlets contract and she is getting paid $10,000 per episode for her appearance on the spinoff of Boy Meets World, must be nice. The first season consists of 21-episodes, meaning that the young actress will be pocketing $210,000.
Blanchard plays Riley, the daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga's (Danielle Fishel) characters who are trying to navigate the world of New York City while raising a teenager. From what we can tell there is definitely going to be more Girl Meets World in the near future. The show has been generating buzz since the network released plans to do a follow up story centered on the Matthew's family.
If Disney decides to turn the series into a movie, Rowan is looking to make $150,000 on top of what she already makes for the series.
We are almost positive that the network will renew the series for season two, so Blanchard will definitely be pulling in even more money when those episodes air.
Also starring in the series are Riley's best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), her love interst Lucas (Petyon Meyer), and classmate Farkle (Cory Fogelmanis). No news on how much these actors are getting paid, but we are sure its close to what Blanchard is racking in.
The premiere episode of the series was released earlier this week by Disney and can be watched here, for all of those super fans that can't wait until the June 27 premiere.
