Basketball Wives: L.A. Sundy Carter DUI Arrest Statement: 'I Take Full Responsibility For My Lack Of Judgment'
"Basketball Wives: L.A." reality star, Sundy Carter was arrested for drunk driving over the Memorial Day weekend holiday and has released a statement about her DUI mistake.
Los Angeles police pulled over the reality star after driving eastbound in a westbound traffic lane, which prompted them to proceed with a breathalyzer test in which she failed with .18% over the .08% limit.
The Philadelphia native was later arrested, charged with DUI, booked, and released. The starlet explained in a statement that she was extremely apologetic an grateful no one else was hurt.
"Drinking and driving is an extremely serious offense, and I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment on Monday night," she said. "I thank God that I did not harm anyone else or myself and the idea of what could've happened was definitely a wake up call for me."
"Everyday I strive to become a better example for my family, friends and fans, the decision I made is far from one that I'm proud of," she continued. "I vow to never make this mistake again and I truly apologize to those I have disappointed. I hope my lesson can serve as an example to others that it's far more important to have a designated driver, being responsible is key-it can become the difference between life and death."
